Even though you may not have met the artist Billy, you know that this work of art required an artist. Leanardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa, a building needs an architect and builders. Cars, clothes, machines are all designed and made by people you don’t know and will probably never meet. So creation needs a creator! Your eye that you are reading this with, enjoy art and the world around you with, is far more complex than any optical device that man will ever make.
So, what do you think will happen to you when you meet your creator? Will he be happy or upset with you? Here is an easy test to see what God thinks of you.
How many lies have you told in your life? How many things have you stolen, irrespective of size or value? How many times have you used God’s or Jesus’ name instead of a swear word? These are only three of the ten commandments that God will use to judge us all when we die - it is appointed a time for a man to die and then the judgement, Hebrews 9:27. If you are like most of us you will have broken all the commandments so from the list above God will see you as a lying, thief and blasphemer and will rightly find you guilty of breaking his laws and send you to his jail - Hell - justly for breaking his laws. But God doesn’t want you to go there. God loves us so much he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment that we all, you on your judgement day, deserve. Jesus took the wrath of God for your sin by dying horribly on the cross, being buried and rising from the dead! All in accordance with scriptures from the bible.
So you, by repentance and faith in Jesus. That means acknowledging that you are guilty of breaking God’s laws and deserve his wrath. Then turning away from your sinful life by the power of the Holy Spirit. Then thanking God that he paid your fine in Jesus’ blood so that you can be forgiven and given eternal life with God in heaven!
That is Amazing Grace! God paid your fine so you can enjoy God forever. All because of Jesus. Please repent of your sin, turn away from your sin and put your faith and trust in Jesus for your eternal salvation. Then read your bible daily and enjoy it.
